I deeply value safety, non-judgement, and the courage it takes to be open with another. That’s why it is important to me that therapy proceeds at the pace of trust. In therapy, I endeavour to get to know the person that you are and understand the diversity of life experiences that have led you here. All humans, identities, and experiences are welcome. Of late, I have become specifically curious to understand and support those who experience stress, pain, substance use and conflict. I am also deeply curious about trauma and the impact it has on us as individuals, as a species, and in relation to those with whom we share our planet.
My work is guided by my diverse lived experiences around the world. I look beyond diagnostic labels to truly appreciate what life is like to be you. I am gentle and curious in my approach, often surprising folks given my male body. I have a tendency to be deep and work well with folks who some day would like to go “there;” wherever there may be for you and in whatever time you would like to get there.
I am motivated to work in support of unburdening your life’s challenges so that you may be more free to be you. I do therapy in-person, remote, or in nature (e.g. walking trails), adapting to what best suits your healing journey.
